Problem: How do I delete a deck?

Solution: Hi,

Deleting a deck is easy - just follow these steps:

On mobile:

  1. Open your deck list in the app
  2. Swipe the deck you want to delete to the left
  3. Tap "Delete" and confirm

On web:

  1. Go to your library
  2. Click the three-dot menu on the deck
  3. Select "Delete" and confirm

Once deleted, the deck and all its flashcards are permanently removed from your account.

delete_workspace

Problem: How do I delete a workspace?

Solution: Hi,

Deleting a workspace is quick:

On web:

  1. Click "Library" in the left sidebar
  2. Find the workspace you want to remove
  3. Click the three-dot menu on the workspace
  4. Select "Delete" and confirm

On mobile:

  1. Go to Library
  2. Find the workspace
  3. Tap to open its menu
  4. Select "Delete" and confirm

Note: Deleting a workspace permanently removes all decks inside it. Make sure you no longer need the content before confirming.

Problem: How do I stop the free trial before it becomes paid?

There is no free trial period but rather just credit-based trials so no need to cancel anything unless you subscribed to premium.

How to sync:

  • Verify you're using the same email/account on all devices
  • Try signing out and back in to force a refresh
  • Check your internet connection

Your subscription applies to your account, not to a specific device, so premium features work everywhere you're logged in.

where_are_my_decks

Problem: Where are my decks / I can't find my content

Solution: Hi,

If you can't find your decks:

  1. Check Library: Click "Library" in the navigation - all your decks should be listed there
  2. Check workspaces: Your deck might be in a different workspace than expected
  3. Verify account: Make sure you're logged in with the same email/account you used when creating the decks
  4. Try signing out and back in to refresh the sync

If you used "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google" when you created the decks, make sure you're using the same method now.

Studyflash supports these file formats for creating decks:

Supported formats:

  • PDF documents
  • PowerPoint presentations (.ppt, .pptx)
  • Images/Photos (you can take photos of handwritten notes)- Anki files

Tips for best results:

  • Text-based documents work best (the AI reads text to create flashcards)
  • Make sure PDFs aren't password-protected
  • Clear, readable text produces better flashcards

Not supported:

  • Password-protected files
  • Audio/video files
  • Word documents (convert to PDF first)

Problem: My subscription shows as expired but I just paid

If your subscription shows as expired right after payment, this is usually a sync issue.

Please try:

  1. Sign out of Studyflash completely
  2. Sign back in with the same email/account you used to purchase
  3. Wait a few seconds for the sync to complete

Common causes:

  • Different login method (e.g., email vs. Apple ID)
  • Payment processing delay (especially for bank transfers)
  • App needs to refresh

If you signed up through iOS/Android, make sure you're using the same Apple ID/Google account on this device.

Problem: Why am I being charged in a different currency?

The currency you're charged in depends on where you made the purchase:

  • App Store (iOS): Uses your Apple ID's country/currency
  • Studyflash website: Decided the curreny based on your country.

What currency would you need your subscription to be in?

The amount charged is equivalent regardless of currency - just displayed differently based on your payment method.

  • Full AI tutor Max access

Important:

  • Your content is NOT deleted
  • You can still view and study existing flashcards
  • You can resubscribe anytime to get full access back

Think of it as going back to the free plan - all your existing work is preserved.
